The 3RC i~tunthly Reconnaissance 5ciledule for August 1969 was
approved telephonically on 1 August 1969 with the following
modifications:
a. The USS $ELi`IO~T and the USS PALM $EACH
ELINT collection ships in the r?editerranea~i
Sea are to maintain a CPA of SO n.,m. from
the UAR.
b. The tracks proposed in Change ~~2 for~the U.S.
Coast Cuard cutters STATEN ISLAND and NORTHWIND
in the Northern Sea route are to maintain a CPA
of 15 n.m. instead of 13 n.m, from USSR territory.
