Kerby Slated to Be
Dow Jones President
At the March 15 meeting of
directors of Dow Jones & Com-
pany, Bernard Kilgore will re-
tire as president, a position he
has filled for 20 years, and move
up to chairman.
Mr. Kilgore said he will pro-
pose the election of William F.
Kerby, now executive vicepresi-
dent, as president; Buren Mc-
Cormack as executive vicepresi-
dent, and Robert Bottorff as
general manager.
Dow Jones publishes the Wall
Street Journal, the National
Observer and Barron's. It also
owns Dow Jones Books and
operates the Dow Jones News
Service.
