Dear Lawson:
I have received your progress report on the
program for copying Government records for
my Library. It is my wish that there be no
delay on this project, and that the copying of
selected records be completed as near January
20, 1969, as is possible.
I have emphasized the urgency and priority
of this project in recent meetings with the
Cabinet and Under Secretaries. Department
and Agency heads will also receive a copy of
this letter. I am urging every official con-
cerned to cooperate wholeheartedly with the
General Services Administration, so that we
do not lose a day in completing this important
project.
