the Lyndon Baineed Johnson Presidential
Library
1. There are forwarded herewith boxes of
fibs containing SECRET material from the DDP, the DDS
and from the Office of the DCI for retention at the
Records Center as an annex to the Presidential Library
for former President Lyndon Baines Johnson. In Box No. I
you will find a metal box which contains a set of index
cards listing numerically, and describing, each file we
have forwarded.
2. aox No. containing TOP SECRET material
(File No. LBJ/HQ/DDP--135) is being forwarded separately
by our Top Secret Control Officer located at Headquarters
Room 1D-15, Ext. File Numbers LBJ/HQ/DDP- /2,Z
tnru LBJ/f Q/DDP- J which are actually classified only
SECRET have been included in Box No., only to keep
i e L3J Library material in numerical sequence.
3. Because of its sensitive nature, File No.
LLJ/HIQ/DCI-2 is being forwarded separately by 25X1
I Executive Secretary of USIB, and will be handled
Records Center according to his stipulations. For your
information, a duplicate set of LBJ/IIQ/DCI-2 and the
docwiients were forwarded to ChiefCIA Records Center
as Attachment A to Memorandum No. 25X1
i3YE-0113--69 dated 23 January 1969.
4. Memoranda will be forwarded to you separately
to outline the conditions under which access to SECRET
am TOP SECRET material may be accorded.
