1. Reference a. requested the DIERO to establish
a time schedule for an orderly transfer of contracting
functions from this Agency to the Air Force for the
81-71, the Yf-12A, and the J-58 engine programs.
Reference b. from the EXR() suggests certain time
schedule* for the transfer of subject programs and also
requests that appropriate Agency personnel be designated
to work with the Director We office in pursuing the
BR-71 considerations, particularly those involving the
interrelationships between OXCART, TAOgOARD, YF-12A,
and *1-71.
2. since the contracting responsibility for these
Projects rests with your office, it is requested that
you designate certain personnel to work with the 11? and
Particularly the Director We Office to resolve any
Plems involving the transfer of the contracting
functions between this Agency and the Air Force within
the eed time frame.
3. Please furnish the Comptroller, DD/$&T with
the names of those persons so designated.
