Dear Joe:
1. ECPe CR-38 and GP-41 have been approved technically
by the SPO.
2. Pursuant to the provisions of Contract No. CW-6644,
the Contractor will submit a Design Change Notice to the PSO
within 21 days after receipt of this authorization defining the
retrofit kits. The PSO, in turn, will issue a Purchase
Request for the kits. In the interim, the Contractor is
authorized to proceed with kit preparation.

This ECP is technically approved by the SPO.
STATINTL Request that you provide II with formal authority to
proceed with it.
Nat has advised us that 23 recorders will
require retrofit. The retrofit kit cost, applicable to the
services contract, is estimated to be $257 or about $11 per
kit. Note that the retrofit costs of this ECP should be
changed to contract CW-6644 (see our letter of 23 December
regarding ECP 32).
