weight of the snow and he had 100 men shoring up the roof. There is no ready

4. Security Briefing. A Security briefing on personnel and counter-
intelligence security was given to Mr. Helms at 10:15 today preparatory to
giving a similar briefing to the DCI. The briefing went well and Mr. Helms was
quite satisfied.
. Refurnishing the DCI Suite. Colonel White called and shortly there-
alled concerning new rugs for the DCI, furniture for
ugs an furniture for the secretaries. I called a halt on the
work situation and we will meet with all concerned so we have a full meeting of
the minds as to what is wanted and what should be furnished. An appointment
has been arranged with the DCI to discuss his wishes for furnishings in his office.
