Free Europe, Inc. has ceased publication of East Europe. Publication
of that magazine, however, has been resumed under the independent
auspices of Robert Speller & Sons, Publishers; Inc., 10 East 23rd
Street, New York, New York 10010, to whom subscription orders
($10 per year) may be addressed.
The Director of RFE, the single remaining operating division of
Free Europe, Inc., is Mr. Ralph Walter, at One Englischer Garten,
Munich, Federal Republic of Germany. Appointment of desk chiefs
is the responsibility of the President of Free Europe, Inc.
You will find additional information in the enclosed Fact Sheet
and reprint from Nation's Business, which I hope yo'u will find
helpful. Since your letter indicates that Senator Gurney.may be
interested in this information, I am sending him a copy of this
reply and enclosures.
