MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director for Intelligence
1. From time to time, ORR receives letters of
commendation from its customers, which are placed in
a special file. Most of them express appreciation
for a particular ORR report; some deal with more
general matters.
2. I am attaching some samples of the letters
received so far this year, with the thought that they
would be of interest to you. They have been selected
to give you some sense of the kind of comments we
receive. So far in 1966 we have received almost 50
letters commending our reports or expressing appreciation
for some kind of support. Twenty of these letters have
come in from individuals on our elite distribution list
who have received copies of reports under covering
memoranda signed by the D/RR.
