1. FYI. Dr. Wheelon asked me to contact George Miller,
to have them attend a briefing
being presented to Gen. Barnes and the ONE Special Staff by
ig. Gen. Dempster on Friday at 1400, room 7E 26. The
topic of the briefing is "SA-Z - Operational Characteristics
Against Tactical Aircraft. "
2. Gen. Dempster will be accompanied by Col. Williamson
and Maj. Levy. Zeke tells me that Dempster has a special
task force of the Air Force looking into the SA-2 problem and
he participated in a briefing of this group several weeks ago.
3. 1 have contacted all three people personally and they
all plan to attend. Zeke is briefing Adze. Smith at 1245 at
the request of Adm. Raborn but expects to be back in the
building by 1400 to attend this briefing.
