1. This amendment provides funds in the amount of $143,400 for work to be STAT
performed by the Raytheon Company, Waltham, Massachusetts, in connection
2. Because of the applicability of the results of this work to urgent problems
in Southeast Asia and because of the need for prompt execution of the work to
meet severe operational requirements, immediate contract coverage, to include
the establishment of allowance for pre-contract costs, is requested. This
action carries a
STAT
3. It is requested that two copies of each contract or contract modification
awarded as a result of this Amendment be furnished the Director, ARPA. In
transmitting such documents, specific reference should be made to AR.PA Order
No. 1283.
4. The General Requirements and Reporting Requirements set forth in the
ARPA Order No. 1283 also apply to this Amendment.
5. The fund availability is hereby increased by $143, 400 under appropriation and
account symbol "97X0400. 1304 Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation,
Defense Agencies". This brings the funding under this Order to a new total
of $2, 231, 141 to date.
