Mr. GRABOWSKI submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the
('onunittee on Rules
RESOLUTION
1 Resolved, That the Speaker of the House of Represeuta-
2 tives is hereby authorized and directed to appoint a special
3 ad hoc committee to make a full study of the operations,
4 activities, and expenditures of the Central Intelligenee
5 Agency.
6 SEC. 2. The committee shall be composed of seven mom-
7 bens of the House of Ilepresentatives, no more than five of
8 whom shall be members of the same political party. The
9 membership of the special committee shall consist of at least
10 two members from the House Committee on Foreign Affairs
11 and two members of the Subcommittee on State, Justice, and

1 Commerce of the House Appropriations Committee. The
2 members of the committee shall select a chairman.
3 Sec. 3. The committee shall hold private hearings only
4 and shall report its findings together with such recommenda-
5 tions as it deems advisable to the House of Representatives
