Bonn, Oct. 24 UCr-The suicide
of a Government press office

deaths of Bonn officials in the
last three weeks which have
stirred conjecture about espion?

Two senior officers, a top in-
telli~ence official, and an eca
nomscs ministry employee have
died either by suicide or under
anysteriour circumstances and a
Defense Ministry clerk has van-
ished.
A Government spokesman
said, however, that the librari-
an, Edeltraud Grapentin, 52,
killed herself with an overdose
of drugs for private reasons.
Police continued their coun-
try-wide hunt for the missing
Defense Ministry clerk, Gerhard
Boehm, 61, who vanished Mon-
day leaving suicide notes at hisl
office and home. Mr. Boehm'
was said by his ministry to be
no security risk apart from hav-
ing .carried sealed classified
documents as a messenger,
Attention Ebcused on the death
of Rear Adm. Hermann Luedke,
57, newly retired deputy chief of
the logistics? department of
NATO's European headquarters
at Casteau, Belgium. He died
mysteriously in a German for-
est fourteen days after micro-
film pictures of secret 1VAT0
documents had been traced to
him September 24.
The Luedke affair has stirredV
a row over how suspected spies]
are dealt with. In a series of
priority questions to the bundes-{
