(Unclassified - II In response to her request, forwarded to Janet Faulstich, in the office of Representative Thomas Rees (D., Calif.), base map of Israel and the Middle East for use in a newsletter. 7. (Unclassified - Miss Lil Benedict, in the office of Represen-, tative Olin Teague (D., Texas , called to request a map entitled "Indochina /~ Terrain & Transportation. " This map was sent to Congressman Teague's office by courier. 8. (Unclassified - FBIS, advised that Miss 25X1 Uzzell, in the office of Congressman Sidney R. Yates (D., Ill.), had called in connection with an earlier request on behalf of a constituent for a copy of the FBIS White Book. I spoke with Miss Uzzell and advised her that in her absence I had on 4 May met with Mrs. Janet Schnitz, Administrative Assistant to Mr. Yates, and explained the limitations on the distribution of the FBIS White Book and provided a listing of Repository Libraries in the state of Illinois. Mrs. Schnitz had advised that they would not require correspondence on this from us. I expressed to Miss Uzzell our interest in helping her in any way that we could and she explained that under the circumstances nothing further would 25X1 be required from us. 9. (Internal Use Only - II Spoke withi Program, Evaluation and Planning staff, Social Security Administration, in connection with the transfer of credit proposal. He said he had reviewed the proposed amend- ments to bring the Agency's retirement system within the proposal; that he found them fully satisfactory; that he had forwarded them to Mr. Levine, HEW, OGC. F_ _j seems to be fully convinced that the incorporation of the Agency's retirement system is in keeping with the principle established for 25X1 Civil Service and Foreign Service and believes that this would be the Social Security Administration's viewpoint in connection with BOB clearances of the matter.
