Approved Fo 8R0tt0200230075-9 JOURNAL OFFICE OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL Tuesday - 21 March 1967 STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT 1. Confirmed with S ravine Chief Counsel, Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, that ill be available for a hearing at 10:30 a.m. on 22 March 1967. 2, I ket with Molly Cohen, in the office of Representative William S. Moorhead, and provided her with a draft response to a constituent letter regarding the financial support of the American Friends of the Middle East. Miss Cohen was most appreciative of our assistance on this item. 3. Met with Mary Taylor, in the office of Senator Frank Lausche, concerning a constituent request for a list of the various foundations that have been securing funds through the CIA. Miss Ta'yl'or advised that the Senator would appreciate a short response in writing to the effect that, pending final determination by the Katzenbach committee, the only information that has been released has been to the effect that Governmental support had been provided to the National Student Association. 5. Mr. Scott Cohen, Executive Assistant to Senator Charles Percy, called to request a copy of the Moscow telephone directory. Acquisitions has an extra copy of the 1966 organization directory but no extra copy of the 1960 private subscriber directory. This is in response to a request of Illinois Bell Telephone for a sample and it is believed that the 1966 directory should satisfactorily serve this purpose.
