Monday - 7 October 1968
Talked with Ben Gilleas, Director
of Investigations, Senate Preparedness Investigation Subcommittee,
and made arrangements for and me to see him on Wednesday 25X1
to brief him on the Czechoslovak situation.
Advised Colonel James Brower, Office
of Secretary of Defense, Legislative Liaison, of our briefing appointment
with the Senate Preparedness Investigation Subcommittee staff. Brower
said they are now scheduled to meet with the staff on Friday. He
added that he had instructed their people to coordinate with us on this.
Met with Miss Barbara Rugito, in
the office of Representative John Dent, and brought her up-to-date on
the case of in which the Congressman's office was
most interested. (See Journal item of 20 June 1968. )
