This notice provides definitions and sets forth the procedure to be
followed by all Agency components in complying with this regulation.

advisable for securlty reasons) so that interested persons will have
first hand information on the matter.
5. When it is desired to visit plants or factories only to in-
spect new developments in the graphic arts field, coordination can be
effected by telephone to the Office of Togistics: however, in cases
Where research and development is or may be involved, the Office of
logistics should be notified by memorandum, giving full 'particulars.
Notification of approval to proceed and the method to be followed will
also be.. by memorandum.
6. Agency components wishing to be notified of graphic al n in-
vestigative or research undertakings should notify the Office of
Logistics in writing. Notification will be given If not prohibited
for security reasons.
