A" ett`t` ??//d fvS'?3 Excerpt from Minutes of Deputy Director (Support) Staf-F Meeting 2 March 1955 _ In view of the current scarcity of safes, Colonel White said that he was interested in doing everything possible to advance callse of good records management. He also asked, that Mr. Imake sure that the best and the most modern sates are sen-c -Yu field installations both domestic and overseas. Col. Baird raised the question about the possibility of increasing the number of secure vaults within the Agency in preference to the procurement of more safes to which Colonel Edwards replied that he was in favor of wider use of vaults wherever possible. Colonel White then observed that in view of our plans for a new Agency building it was necessary to keep in mind the question of major expenditures for vault equipment which might not be recovered subsequently in a move to the new location. L said that he felt a number of people would be i contents of certain Task Force reports of the Hoover Commission which are now appearing but that he es not normally obtain these.
