Subject: Disposition of Scrap Material
Reference: Headquarters Message 2078 dated 22 July 1965
We have received scrap disposition for certain residual
material under our various contracts. It is our normal practice to
credit proceeds from such material to a burden account rather than
directly to the applicable contract. This is done as normally scrap
from all programs is comingled in order to accumulate a sufficient
quantity to warrant bids for purchase.
This procedure was approved for Contract FL-CT-4001
by the referenced message. It is requested that it also be approved
for Contracts KD-3540, FL-CT-4004 and FL-TM-4003.
