R&D PANEL
Minutes of Meeting - No. 4 - 9 December 1965
1. The JIIRG R&D Panel met on 9 December 1965 at the
Pentagon (DIA) with all members present.
2. Col. William R. Sturgis, Jr. , briefed the Panel on the
functions and activities of the Inter-Service Coordinating and
Integrating Group (ISCIG) and, in particular, the activities of
the Multi-Sensor Correlation, Display, and Analysis Committee
whi
ch he chairs. Other ISCIG Committees include Photo,

3. An effective link has been established between Col. Sturgis'
Committee which primarily concerns itself with the coordination of
research into appropriate techniques rather than equipment,with the
Committee on Photographic Exploitation Equipment (COPE).
4. Col. Sturgis will provide a copy of a first publication of his
Committee which describes the various projects now extant, and
indicates the division of effort among the various Services.
4. Col. Hicks, Mr. Dyer and of JIIRG also
attended the presentation. Capt. Baker, will arrange the next
meeting.
