SUBJECT : Inspector General's Survey of the
National Photographic Interpretation
Center
1. In the survey of the National Photographic Interpretation
Center (NPIC) there was a recommendation addressed to the
attention of the Director of Security. Normally the unit being
inspected acts as the executive agent for all recommendations
in the report. NPIC, however, has returned their comments
on the recommendations with a statement assuming that
Recommendation No. 33 had been brought directly to your
attention.
2. The recommendation is quoted on the attached sheet
along with the two preceding paragraphs of the text which gives
sufficient background to explain the recommendation.
3. Please furnish your comments on the recommendation
to the Executive Director not later than 4 December 1962.
