SUBJECT : Additional Technical Representative
Assignment
.1. The maintenance and operational preparation and
post flight recovery of Delta III camera system requires the
simultaneous efforts ofl _j There are presently
assigned three, teams. One team assigned to
Detachment "H" and two teams assigned to Detachment "G".
2. The possibility always exists wherein all three
teams, and particularly the two teams at Detachment "G",
could be deployed to various OL's and to carrier operations
at one time. This situation would leave Detachment "G"
without coverage in the Delta III area. With the requirement
for per team there is little or no flexibility in
programming vacations for these personnel at both Detachments
"G" and "H". There is also no means available to replace
a team member in the event of an unfortunate occurrence
such as sickness, etc.
3. Because of the above requirements and limitations
it is necessary at this time to assign an additional Itek
technical representative to Detachment "G" on a full time
basis.
4. This program will be monitored closely to insure
that as the situation permits the number of required, full
time, technical representatives is reduced.
