OPERATIONAL SUMMARY AND STATUS
I. General Summary
A. One Agency U-2 overflight (Mission C216C) was made
on 26 November 1966. In addition C196C was alerted for
3 November and C206C for 23 November. C196C was cancelled

cumuiaation oz two iactors. 1 ireit a postponement
to a later date was desired. Ultimately cancellation was
dictated due to weather.
B. I reverted to CAT III status on 25 November..
No new ETOR predicted for him since present plans call for
him to receive additional ground and flight training in the
U-2.
25X1A C. have completed T-33 training and
are 80% U- .trained. U-2 flight training is scheduled to
begin in early December.

D. Three flight tests forl were flown . 25X1A
during the month. Fuel data was obtained on the first flight.
It compared very favorably to the October results. -Ballistic
data was collected on the first and-third sorties and it is
anticipated that quite valid drop information can now be
computed. The second sortie air aborted due to ground radar
inoperative.

E. Two flight tests were flown during the month for
check out of the modified,"H" Configuration in preparation
F. One flight test was flown for the purpose of
obtaining fuel data with a 1720 gallon load. This test was
successful. Drop tanks were released and excellent fuel
consumption information obtained. Two other sorties were
flown to obtain fuel data during the month.

II. Product Improvement
A. Four APN-153/ASN-66 Doppler Navigation Systems have
been contracted for, for use on operational missions. First
deliveries are anticipated to be in January.
B. No tests were flown on.the Air Data Computer/Tape
Altimeter due to higher priority requirements. Tests should
be completed during the month of December.
C. Test flights were successfully completed on the "H"
Camera and the system was deployed.
