1. This memorandum conf iras telephone
conversat iqt- concerning OSA' a participation in Too scheduled
DCI briefing.
2. As you are aware, there in continual liaison between.
the Director of Reconnaissance and the DCI on policy matters
concerning our activities. For this reason we believe the DCI
is generally informed on the status of our activities and
propose that they",tine allotted to OSA be limited to about ten
minutes. During this time frames we would propose three major
topics for brief discussion:
a. IDEALIST Assets and Flight Test Program.
b. U--2R Program - Purpose and Schedule
c. OXCART sets and Flight Test Program
3. Following your meeting with the Acting DD/S&T on this
aubject, we would appreciate your guidance on the general scope
of the briefing and any specific comments you may have regarding
paragraph 2 above.
