3. Discussion of proposed RDRB amended charter. It was
agreed that membership would. consist of one representative
from each Deputy Directorate as follows:

5. It was agreed that matters regarding the negotiation of
R&D contracts would be a matter of individual concern between
separate Agency R&D components and the Office of Logistics,
and would not involve the RDRB. 25X1A
6. Presentation by Colonel Giller and (A copy of
the briefing notes is attached to these minutes.) The purpose
of this exercise was to present to the Board an inventory of
R&D contractual efforts within the Agency. The Board agreed
that there was a necessity for an additional survey to provide
data from which more meaningful analysis could be made. It
was further agreed that an effort should-be made to categorize
the R&D effort under headings denoting end objectives of the
research.
ACTION: Reports of this additional work will be presented
by Colonel Giller and at the next
Board meeting. 25X1A
7. Discussions of proposed answer to letter
the DCI on community activities in the audio field..
to 25X1A
8. Brief presentation by Mr. Miller indicating the forthcoming
structural change in OEL. and several other men
from OSA, will comprise the nucleus of a new "Airborne Systems"
Division which will come under the control of a new DAD/OEL
for system development matters.
9. Agenda items for the next RDRB meeting:
a.. Approval of the minutes.
b. Discussions of proposed amendments to the original
charter.
c. Continuation of presentation by Colonel Giller and

R&D activity.
