SUBJECT: Progress Report for Week of 16-20 September
1. Completed preliminary work on drafting new organization charts for
GIG reorganization. All activities are in agreement, except Collection and
Dissemination in which case minor adjustments remain to be made; and Special
Operations.
2. Projects planned or in process:
at Final completion and publication of organization charts.
b. Determination of p ersonnel requirements, by grade and numbers,
phased in increments through 30 June 1947.
o. Space requirements, and allocation of existing space.
d. Orientation of Director, by 26 September, on personnel requirements,
including comparison with 30 April 1946 figures.
e. Review mid revision of internal administrative procedures*
f. Preparation of chart showing overall intelligence activities of
all government agencies.
