l'. Action relative to pa.ragra" 3 of above referenced memorandum
has been accomplished and the eval-.u,ing team and contract monitor are
almost in a position to submit a finalized work statement and cost
breakdown on the proposed Gamma. I rectifier. Final action should be
accomplished during the week of 18 March 1963.
2. It is requested that at the OSA level an audit of funds
applicable to the Gamma Irectifier be made and >_ report be made to the
contract monitor. The Itek contracting officer indicates that only
(less fee) of the study funds were expended. After the fee is
determined and applied, it is recar-i.nded that the remaining funds be
transferred to the hardware part, 0.0. #6. Itek estimates that the
hardware item will cost approximately II therefore, additional
funds will be needed. It is desired to know rather precisely what
remains and is applicable to T.O. +6 so that the remainder can be
obtained.
3. It is requested that the stop order be lifted on T.O. '# 6
immediately so that a continuation of procurement of long lead time
items can be reinitiated.
