1. In response to your query as to wheter we are aware
of any instance in which released information has been con-
promised or not properly protected by recipient governments,
a survey of all DTI/R components produces no knowledge of any
such instance.
2, Mr. George C. Miller, Assistant Director for R
has just returned this week from an around the world trip
during course of which he visited nuuerous bases and various
other liaison services. Be reports that even in the course
of this travel he did not encounter any report of a problem

were having sole internal problem with their own procedures,
but this is Just a matter of their own internal. efficiency and
did not involve any security weaknesses.
