I concur in general with memo of 15 June 25X1 and in particular with regard to the urgent nee to accomplish the actions outlined in para. Z. 2. With regard to para. 2 (e), has not advised. 25X1 25X1 25X1 25X1 me at any point with regard to DPD security indifference, although some time ago I specifically requested that any tendency towards security laxness be brought to my attention at the earliest opportunity. Why has this not been done, and what support and administrative action does he desire? I consider this problem more serious and more urgent than any of the others mentioned in para. 2 since it directly reflects on the individuals who are working on this highly sensitive program within this Division. Therefore I would like a formal investigation either byl or by the Office of Security to determine who the individuals are who have been lax, and why I have seen no security violations as a result of the acts and/or indifference mentioned by 3. Since the reference memo had a rather wide distribution, I feel that this memo plusi or your answer should be given the same distribution.
