Approved For Release 2004/12/15 : CIA-RDP61 SO075OA000600150010-7 GROUP II 25X1 D 25X2 25X1 C 1. The Rail Line: KYSHTY M -CHELYABINSK- UFA- KUYBYSHEV ranks very high of those sections of rail suspected of being associated with ICBM deployment. There is practically no intelligence on most of this rail line and travel by Westerners over a good portion of this line has been denied. Unidentified construction at BEREZOVKA, notes in Mission strongly suggests the possibility of an operational ICBM deployment site in early stage of development. It is anticipated that sufficient time has elapsed to provide further indication ofthe purpose of the construction. Should this installation prove to be an ICBM launch site, it would aid in interpreting existing photography or new photography at other places. 25X1 25X1 4. The area southwest of S TALINGRAD along the DON RIVER is a heavily industrialized area on which no recent photo coverage is available. missile production at ROSTOV, possible I RBM deployment at KERCH, missile R&D at KARANGIT' and an operating base for ASM BADGERS from BAGEROVO Airfield. 25X1 NSA review(s) completed. Approved For Release 2004/12/15 : CIA-RDP61 SO075OA000600150010-7
