1. Accomplishments
a. Branch Reports Submitted
(1) An economic intelligence support item was
submitted to CSS/(1 R regarding the Czechoslovak antifriction
bearing supply position.
b. Other Projects Submitted
(1) Special informal reports were made to S/TC under
Project 40.1736, Review of the China Special List.. Our contributions
were concerned with the supply situation in China with regard to
antifriction bearings, locomotives and rolling stock.
(2) Considerable work was done and an informal
contribution (in consultation) was made to Mr. Delbert Schroeder
of AFOIN-A3 in connection with Project 30.1751, Estimated Production
of Specified Industries in the Sino-Soviet Bloc, 1956.
(3) A contribution to Project 20.1529, Policies, Performance
and Protects for Soviet Agriculture was submitted*
