Each flash card consists of a Chinese character or radical on one side and on the other side the romanization, correct pronunciation and English equivalent. It is considered one of the very best training aids for learning Chinese characters. On an experimental basis a few cards were run off by the OTR Reproduction office on heavier weight paper. The results were so good that we now intend to run off 40 sets of 240 flash cards for the use of the regular daytime program as well as all the VLTP classes. 25 YEAR RE-REVIE\ Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2009/12/18: CIA-RDP61-00442A000200040147-3 Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2009/12/18: CIA-RDP61-00442A000200040147-3 ifte 1JUIu-1u _fl I In' The total cost will be $24.00 as compared to the $280.00 the cards would have cost if purchased commercially.
