C/IAS was pleased to find everything under good control when he returned on 17 June from the USC International Conference on Soviet-Asian Relations. A report will be prepared as soon as final documents of the Conference have been received from USC. Nine nations (U. K. France, Germany, Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, India and the U.S.), four foundations (Ford) Rockefeller, Carnegie and Asia, also the Rand Corporation), three U.S. federal agencies (CIA, State and Army), and twenty-some universities were represented by the seventy-so invited delegates. 2.
