A. SIGNIFICANT ITEMS
None to report.
B. OTHER ACTIVITIES
1. The uncleared area of Qtrs. Eye is no longer "uncleared".
Badges are now required to enter and leave the area. Special
badges have been issued to those people who did not have
regular Agency badges.
2. L__]returned on Tuesday after six weeks travel on the East
Coast, to different colleges and universities. He visited and
studied their plans and programs, for the next offering of our
IOE and SSOE on Overseas Effectiveness.
3. Eighty-four people reported for written proficiency tests
during the past two weeks in Cambodian, French, German, Italian,
Polish, Portuguese and Spanish.
4+. Seventy-five Certifications for Language Award certificates
were sent to the Registrar in the past two weeks.
5. Fourty-nine people were tested orally in French, German,
Norwegian, Portuguese and Spanish.
