The School's new Program of Area Training and Research is ready for final typing and will be sent forward in a day or so. 2. Huh Taylor of the Department of the Army has asked L_ to review and comment on his draft of a pamphlet on overseas adjustment for DA military and civilian personnel. 3. The Civil Service Commission, Board of Examiners, has again asked if we could assist them in Civil Service Examinations--this time in Polish. If Security approves, Ornstein will assist as an examiner. 4. Otto Guthe approached C/LAS with an offer to "crank in" to his Indiana speech to U. S. educators on Asia any ideas on Asian studies that we'd like to get across to a bunch of college professors. 5.
