SUBJECT: Weekly Activities Report #12, Field. Training,
Period 23 to 27 March 1959
1. The Kilday Committee Briefing had continued. impact
on the staff even though we had. been informed that the briefing
was temporarily postponed. Further efforts were made to polish
the presentations in order that the package briefing could be
given to the group of DDP Branch personnel which was slated. to
spend.. the 30th on the Base.

ad a very fruitful and satisfactory session with
of the Office of Personnel/OTR. In addition to a
general exchange of information and views, a number of individual
personnel cases were discussed. In order to complete our orien-
tation on the whole personnel picture, we are expecting to be
visited. by sometime next week after which it is our
intent to discuss personnel requirements with each chief instructor
and come up with a realistic list of our replacement needs for the
next six months. We would like you to know here that the OC staff,
and to a lesser extent, the CFA staff will require virtually complete
replacement by September.
3. The - group continued their
ortion of the week devoted to demolitions,
administered the last series of tests to the
one individual who was last reported sick. With elp,
he has begun evaluatin the results of the tests. In this regard,
is doing a interpretation in order to help Bill
determine whether normal procedures of interpretation can be applied
to these devices. Bill expects to have something concrete to offer
in two to three weeks.

5. On a personal note, we would like to report that Mr. and Mrs.
became the proud. parents of a boy, Thatcher ~t be two years old
next week. Faye accomplished the flight to the processing of
all the paper work and. was back home in less than two weeks' time which 25X1A
we consider somewhat of a record.
