ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Conference on "Contemporary Africa"
is being sponsored by the School of Advanced
International Studies of The Johns Hopkins Uni-
versity. C. Grove Haines, Professor of Diplomatic
History in the School of Advanced International
Studies, will be General Chairman of the Con-
ference and will be Editor of the Proceedings
which will be published by the Johns Hopkins
Press.
Attendance at the Conference is by invitation
only, and participants will be required to wear
the name lapel-cards, provided at the Registra-
tion desk, for admission to all sessions.
All participants at the Conference are cor-
dially invited to the School of Advanced Inter-
national Studies Reception, on Monday at 5:00
p.m., to be held in the Burgundy Room of the
Sheraton Park Hotel, and to the Special Banquet
Session in the Continental Room at 8:00 o'clock
on the final evening of the Conference.
REGISTRATION
