1. I know Tom Dodd quite well. I consider him to be
extremely able and highly motivated in his political activities.
I have every reason to believe that he thinks well of me.
2. Dodd is arncious to be educated about the policies and
programs of the Executive Departments in international affairs.
He was Justice Jackson~s right hand man at the Nurenberg Trials.
He is a graduate of Providence College and the Yale Iaw School.
He is an Irish Catholic; he has been an FBI agent; in Connecticut
he is highly regarded by all groups; he may quite likely be the
next Governor of Connecticut and then a United States Senator.
