Pursuant to our conversations of November 3rd and
6th, I am forwarding - the C.I.A. questionnaire, which I
completed after several unavoidable delays. A copy of the "Exper-
ience Record=s portion of the questionnaire is enclosed for you.
The investigation based on this document will no
doubt ultimately give you all essential information. However, I
will in the meantime forward you copies of some opinions of my
general character and ability which I am now gathering. If there
are any points on which you want specific details, please advise
me.
While I was in Washington, my inquiries disclosed
several suitable possibilities for me in other agencies and I have,
or will, file applications therefor. Conceivably, one of such
possibilities may materialize, and common sense require me to take
advantage of it,before the C.I.A. security check is completed.
I shall keep you advised of any changes in my circum-
stances in the next few months. No matter what the changes may be,
if your office decides to add an attorney, I want to be the man if
it is humanly possible. I feel confident I would be effective in
the kind of assignment you adumbrated in our discussion. Some of
my capabilities which have not been fully realized on the cormner-
cial plane could, I know, be brought to bear in the framework of
your activities.
