It has been determined from a study of the above sub-
ject that the most practical means of providing vital docu-
ment protection for current cable traffic would be through
the daily deposit at= of a copy of each incoming and
outgoing cable. Both the Assistant Director for Communi-
cations and the Cable Secretary have concurred in this,
and, with your approval, we will proceed with implementing
the proposal.
