I. INDOCTRINATION
1? On -Thursday, 23 April, 47 new persona attended the Indoctrination
Program. This was the first Program we--ceder the new system of
meeting on Thursdays instead of on Mondays. In addition, six Air Force

2. Some of these Air Force personnel, one in particular, displayed a
marked degree of indifference, which was almost antagonistic, upon
arriving to attend the Program. However, before leaving to return to
the Pentagon, these persons were much more amicable in their disposi-
tions.

to press on Wednesday, 22 April. This is the earliest date we have
ever gone to the printer. After proof had been corrected, the finished
product arrived here on Tuesday, 28 April.
2. As on previous occasions, the Chief, Orientation and Briefing Divi-
sion, is meeting with the speakers and giving them their programs so
as to discuss any points which might need to be clarified and especially
to eliminate duplication.

speakers and also by some of the people in the Graphics Division who
attended the Ninth Agency Orientation Course.
4. The Department of Agriculture and the Public Buildings Administra-
tion are most appreciative of our gesture to eradicate weaknesses
from the public address system in the Department of Agriculture Audi-
torium.
5. Since it is essential that the phones of our office be covered
while our little team is working as a unit in the Department of Agri-
culture, we received splendid cooperation from the Medical Office,
who are supplying us with a person to take phone calls.
III. PRESENTATIONS
After a lapse of a few months, a Special Presentations Program will
be held on Wednesday, 13 May. This program will be put on by the
Logistics Office.
IV. SPECIAL
1. All speakers for the Strategic Intelligence School have been
confirmed and the normal letter is being prepared for the signature
of the Director of Training, transmitting the information to Colonel
Lewis E. Perry, Assistant Commandant, Office of the Assistant Chief
of Staff. G-2.
2. The Chief, Orientation and Briefing Division, has had a few
discussions wi Chief, Plans and Policy Staff,
regarding a file on Vie "Briefing of Service Attaches" which was
transmitted to this office by the Office of Intelligence Coordination.
