INDOCTRINATION 1. On Thursday, 28 May, a total of 49 people attended the Indoctrination Course. The audience was composed of 40 new persons, Mr. Charles T. Skow, Jr., Department of State, Mr. Robert J. Bower, Department of the Army, and the following 7 persons from the Directorate of Intelligence, USAF: a . Quinn Intelligence Staff Officer, Estimates . During the Tenth Agency Orientation Course a Mr. Frank Orem of the 25X1 Department of State was one of the State designees at the program. Our 25X1 liaison with him Is On Tuesday Ch _r O 2 .Tune th r , e to discuss some of the methods which we use in organizing our Orientation program and in adopting and developing pertinent visual aids. Mr. Orem was most appreciative of our assistance. The final lineup of speakers was arranged after discussions with the Deputy Director of Training (General), and the official answer prepared for our participation in the Special Strategic Intelligence School Program for Reserve Officers. 2. Commander Fitts of the Naval Intelligence School made an explora- tory call tipping us off on a formal request which is coming through for participation in the next program of the School. 3. On Friday, 29 May, the Chief, OB/D, made a special presentation to the Counter Intelligence Corps officers at Fort Holabird. A report on this subject has already been sent to the DCI through the DTR.
