Mr. Murrin was elected president of the Public Systems
Company in early 1975.
Mr. Murrin joined Westinghouse in 1951 on graduation
from Fordham University and served with the trans-
former division, first at the Sharon, Pennsylvania plant
and subsequently at the Athens, Georgia, plant. In 1959
he was appointed Westinghouse's European manufac-
turing representative and was headquartered in Geneva,
Switzerland. In 1961 he was named general manager
of the motor and gearing division, Buffalo, New York.
Mr. Murrin was elected vice-president, manufacturing
in 1965, named executive vice-president of the defense
and public systems group in 1971, and named senior
executive vice-president in 1974. He assumed his
present post in early 1975.
