1. Following is confirmed:
Thursday, 29 December
American Airlines Flight #663
0915 Depart Dulles
1351 Arrive San Juan (1 hour time change)
2. For return trip, best flight is American Airlines #664;
departs San Juan 1730, arrives Dulles 202{3. This flight has been
sold out "for six months" on 4 January. We are checking to see what
we might be able to work out with American Airlines. Otherwise,
three alternatives:
a. Above flight (American #664) is available on
Thursday, 5 January.
b. Wednesday,,4 January:
0745 Depart San Juan
1250 Arrive Dulles (via JFK in New York and lane
clan ,at JFK)
c. Wednesday, 4 January:
1600 Depart San Juan
2100 Arrive Baltimore Int'l Airport (via Miami and
plane change in Miami)
Return 4 January
4 OK return 5 January

4. Shall I cancel Pres Box for New Year's Eve?
5. FYI, round trip costs are:
Economy $240 per person
First-class $410 per person
For security reasons, the Agency asks that you fly first-class and
therefore picks up the difference between economy and first-class.
Therefore, cost to you should be around $480.
6. and I (and this typist) volunteer to do an advance
for this trip.

I have just recently returned from a short
vacation trip to Puerto Rico. During my arrival
there, as well as during departure, I received
outstanding support and cooperation from your
staff at the Puerto Rico International Airport at
San Juan. Specifically, I would like to mention
Messrs. Hector Gonzalez, Richard Fontes and
Pedro Malave.
Although I have written to each of them
separately, I wanted you to know of the fine job
they did.
