REFERENCE: Your Memorandum dated 11 May 1984
1. I have received your expressions of concern, and I await your
specific suggestions for change.
_.2. Let me take you up on your offer to participate in revising
the draft. Will you please send me specific suggestions for revising
the draft as soon as possible? These will be considered along with the
comments from all other interested parties so that I can forward my
recommendations to the DCI for his consideration. Should it then prove
useful to discuss your comments in greater detail, we can do so.
3. Your memorandum does not constitute helpful advice to the DCI,
nor does it put me in a- position to be able to incorporate your suggestions
for change. Please advise me when I can expect your specific proposals.
