(U) Former DD/CIA David Cohen lines up for soup.
(U) While traveling the world is a normal part of the job for many CIA officers, traveling to
fictional lands is not. Nevertheless, that is exactly what former Deputy Director David Cohen did
this past weekend, when he appeared as a nondescript Northerner during Sunday's (21 April)
episode of Game of Thrones.

(U) CNN reported that while "Cohen did not have any lines, he was served a bowl of soup by Ser
Davos Seaworth, played by actor Liam Cunningham, as Winterfell prepared for the impending
arrival of the Night King and his army of the dead."
(U) CIA's Office of Public Affairs revealed Cohen's apprearance in a tweet. Cohen tweeted
back, joking that we had "blown his cover."

(U) How did a former DD/CIA end up in a Winterfell soup line, you ask? Cohen said in an
interview with NBC that he asked his brother-in-law, who is a showrunner for Game of Thrones, if
he could be an extra when they were celebrating Thanksgiving in 2017.
