(U) EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
(S//NF) The OIG investigation found evidence to support that conducted searches
for persons in databases protected under the Privacy Act, which contain Personally Identifiable
Information (PII), in violation of Federal law, 5 U.S.C. �522a, the Privacy Act of 1974.
(SKIA-IUO/NF) The OIG investigation substantiated allegations that violated
several Agency regulations that deal with access, protection, and release of personnel and
personal information.
(UHFOU0) On 28 February 2019, OIG referred the possible Privacy Act violation to the
Department of Justice, which declined prosecution in favor of administrative action by the
Agency.
