Dear Ms. Fiorina:
As you know, the President instructed the Director of the Central
Intelligence Agency (CIA) to increase significantly the Agency's
staffing level as soon as feasible. General Hayden has asked that CIA's
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) brief the External Advisory Board (EAB)
on
this effort. As an added bonus, I have arranged for you to receive an
updated briefing from the CounterTerrorism Center (CTC) on the Agency's
role in the war against terror.
We propose that these briefings take place on the morning of either
16 November 2006 or 17 November 2006, depending on which is more
convenient to the majority of EAB members. Please contac

November or .17 November as the date for the briefings.
Accordingly, we have scheduled the following briefings for EAB
members:
0800 hrs - Arrival for EAB members who do not yet possess Agency
badges;
0810 hrs - Briefing on ethics and security;
0840 hrs - Arrival for EAB members who already possess Agency badges;
0845 hrs - Review of contracts;
0900 hrs - Briefing by CFO;
1045 hrs - Briefing by CTC;
1200 hrs - No-host lunch in Agency cafeteria (optional).
General Hayden and I regret the short fuse of this request.

Agency's most pressing developments.
