Dear Mr. Heymann:
This is in response to your letter of December 17, 1979
to the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence in which you
advise that Mr. Arthur Sinai has been designated by you to
handle requests for information from this Agency concerning
the association of certain individuals with the Nazi govern-
ment �in Germany from 1933 to 1945.
We are, of course, happy to work with Mr. �Sinai or anyone
else you designate who possesses the necessary clearances..
I must note with some puzzlement, however, the fact that for
over a year we have been working with Mr. Martin Mendelsohn
on this matter. Could you please advise me concerning which
