c. Melzac Collection
The DCI has accepted the bust of George Bush offered as a gift to the
Agency by Vincent Melzac. is to draft a letter accepting
the offer. The DDA has asked the PAC to suggest a location for the
bust. asked everyone to think about this and to have some
suggestions by our next meeting. The DCI is donating a sculpture of
General Donovan to replace the sculpture presently standing in-the main
lobby. The artist has not yet been determined, and will
contact the DDA to see if she can get some samples of work representative
of those artists being considered.
d. Bush Bust
It has not yet been decided whether the Bush bust will go in the
present Headquarters building or in the new building. The Donovan statue
will replace the sculpture that is now standing in the Headquarters
lobby, so that location cannot be considered. Several locations were
suggested, but after discussion, those present agreed that a memo should
be sent to NBPO requesting their assistance in the selection of an
appropriate site. said that she will prepare the memo,
routing it through for their ideas, pAor to
sending it to NBPO. suggested that meet
the new C/NBPO.
b. Bush Bust
' Vincent Melzac has offered a bust of George Bush to the Agency
and the DCI has accepted. The bust is slightly larger than life size.

d. Location for George Bush Bust
placing the
reported that C/NBPO is thinking along the lines of
George Bush Bust in the new building rather than the existing
Headquarters building. Therefore, he is of the opinion that it may be
better to defer decision on specific location until construction of the
new building is closer to completion. After considerable amount of
discussion, suggested that we plan with a focus to the
new building, will talk with C/NBPO and report back to the
Commission at next month's meeting.
